The 2011-2012 school year is here! We hope our children are ready and eager to start another wonderful academic year at SSE. The beginning of the year is a great opportunity to begin fresh, set new goals and strive towards greatness.

Calling all volunteers! SSE is very lucky to have many active parents who provide a variety of services to our students and staff. We’re constantly looking for new volunteers so we welcome all of you to our first PTA general meeting to be scheduled early September to discuss the many ways you can get involved. Please check your children’s folders for more information and schedule.

As school nears, and our lives become more hectic as we prepare for it, so I encourage everyone to take time to be thankful for the gifts we have in our families. A little bit of positive encouragement from a child’s biggest role model (parents) can go a long way towards continued success in the life of a child.

We hope you enjoy the rest of your summer vacation and we’re looking forward to seeing you August 22 with school supplies on hand, summer haircuts and anxious smiles!
