As the 2010 -2011 School Year approaches, the WOLVES are ready! The school year kicks off with many events for parents and students alike. Be prepared for Open House Saturday, Aug. 21 from 9am–12pm in the school cafeteria. Attendees will be able to get their schedules, obtain bus info, join the PTA and participate in the Hassle Free Fundraiser, purchase school supplies and yearbooks and get all the info they need for a successful school year.

Volunteering through the PTA is just one more way to stay involved in your child’s WMS experience. More info will be available at the Open House and be on the lookout for information about the upcoming Volunteer Breakfast this September.

Our Hassle-Free Fundraiser kicks off at Open House. For those new to the school this is a one time fundraiser the PTA conducts so that we can support all of the outstanding programs our school provides for the students that are above and beyond the traditional offerings.

Forms are also available in the school office and on-line so make sure to participate so we can continue to achieve an annual goal of 100% participation. The banners that you see in the school car line will also be available for purchase so be sure to sign up.

Whether it’s the PTA, SAC, SAF, volunteering in the offices or for events and media activities, getting involved in WMS is a rewarding experience and a great way to be a part of your child’s middle school experience. All parents are welcome and encouraged to take an active role at WMS.

Open House schedule: 6th Grade - 9-10am; 7th Grade - 10–11am; & 8th Grade – 11am–12pm.
