Many schools hold live auctions as a fun-filled opportunity to raise funds for schools. Auctions provide significant fundraising potential; it's a great way to provide community outreach, brings visibility to your school and gives a chance to volunteer in your local schools. An auction requires the commitment and dedication of a leadership committee and is usually the biggest fundraiser event of the school year.
CES is excited to announce “Bids for Kids,” our first Silent and Live Auction Fiesta. Bids for Kids will be to benefit student programs. This wonderful event will be held on Saturday, March 3 at 6pm at the Spanish River Community Center and Library. Co-chairs Laurie Hochman and Dorothy Turmail stated, “During today’s trying economic times, we all understand the value of a dollar. Tight budget restraints have greatly impacted our local schools. With the help and support of our community, we can reach our goal of making CES the best it can be.”
Please join us, with your neighbors, community business associates, and Calusa’s wonderful team of teachers at this fun-filled, evening event. Your time, contribution, or donated items of interest from local businesses will add to our success. Business leaders, such as yourself, do not realize the positive impact you have on our neighborhood schools. Of course, there is always the added benefit of promoting your business while giving back to our community. Some of the great items being auctioned off are Taylor Orthodontics Braces, an Atlantis Resort package, and priceless items such as Principal for 1/2 day, up front parking spot, and lunch with Mrs. Wyatt, CES Principal.
So don’t forget to mark your calendars to attend Calusa's first annual live auction! This is a special event you don't want to miss!
Don’t forget the following important dates and events: Feb. 1 - PTA/SAC Meeting at 5:30pm. Feb. 20 - President’s Day, no school.
