If it seems like you’re drifting in a sea of pink this October, you are. Breast cancer awarenesss is what we’re after. And the inaugural shopping boutique and luncheon hosted by local women who formed an alliance to raise money to eradicate breast cancer Oct. 12 promises to be one of our area’s best. The name of the foundation and their first event says it all—“Not My Daughter…Find a Cure NOW!” Being held at the Heron Bay Marriott in Coral Springs from 10am to 2pm, this event is set to bring over 300 women together and over 30 vendors to shop, eat and connect for the cure. A great way to have fun and do something for the cause.
The goal of the event is to bring awareness and raise funds to bring about research which will someday eradicate the disease that now affects so many of the people we love. 100% of the event proceeds will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure, an organization dedicated to saving lives and funding research to end breast cancer forever.
