American Heritage School
offers Equestrian Program
The highly respected and prestigious American Heritage Schools, with locations in Delray Beach and Plantation, now offers a new Equestrian program at its Delray Beach location. Students in preschool through grade 12 can pursue their equestrian interests while receiving a superior college preparatory education. It’s a unique opportunity and tailored to many in our area.
While still fulfilling credit requirements for college admission, high school students are dismissed early, daily, to participate in equestrian training. Absences for equestrian competitions and events are excused with conveniently scheduled “make-up” work provided.
Seasonal students are also welcome and full credit is earned for all courses taken.
They even provide free transportation to the world-class Delray and Wellington equestrian centers. Physical Education credits may be earned by program participants.
Students in elementary and middle school are provided free after school transportation to Delray and Wellington equestrian centers, and absences for events are excused for them as well.
American Heritage School offers an outstanding faculty, an exquisitely beautiful 40-acre campus, extensive, varied programs and much more. There are low student to teacher ratios at all grade levels. A recent $20 million dollar expansion project provided state-of-the-art science, arts and technology centers, as well as dozens of new classrooms. There are award-winning programs in Fine Arts, Key Club and Debate, as well as champion caliber athletic teams.
In high school, dozens of required and elective courses are available including unique course offerings in pre-med and pre-law programs. Extensive college counseling is provided to students from middle school through high school, and an outstanding number of graduates have been admitted to the nation’s finest colleges and universities. The school is accredited by SACS and AISF.
