ART! Walk the Walk! Third Avenue Art District Annual ArtWalk – Feb 4
Artsy?? Or wanna be? Or might you just want to spend a wonderful day amid some cool people and interesting art? The Third Ave Art District in downtown Ft. Lauderdale will celebrate their annual Artwalk, Feb. 4 from 6-10pm. During this great event, the artists of the district, many with varied international backgrounds, open their studios to the community. You can see where they work, how they work and the amazing art they turn out. The Museum of Art in Ft. Lauderdale and the Girls’ Club Collection will also open to the public as part of the tour. Our own Janet Gold (wife of CS Mayor Roy Gold) is among the talented artists who will be hosting this event at her own studio.
Free trolleys will be available to escort visitors from one location to another throughout the night. The studios are all located near each other in Ft. Lauderdale which is what makes this so much fun. This is a special chance to meet the artists and purchase professional artwork.
