Choose from a wide variety of freshly prepared crème brûlées (bananas foster is remarkable), soups (the slightly sweet butternut squash is unbelievable & highly recommended and is made onsite from scratch), and quiches (spinach and goat’s cheese is the regulars’ favorite). It’s the perfect place to meet a friend, share time with family, drop by for a snack or grab-and-go breakfast or dessert. A fabulous assortments of pastries for parties and take-home include mille feuille (Napoleons), éclairs, fruit tarts, Parisian macarons and an almond and pear tart that is not surpassed in SoFla (pastries range from $2.95 to $6). Everything is baked on premise daily as is evident from the freshness of the muffins to the crispness of the palmiers (elephant ears). Brunch offers classics such as brie and smoked salmon on baguette ($8.75) and original creations like puffy Omelet baked in a clay pot ($4.95). The Belgian dark chocolate crepes with crème fairche and fresh berries ($6.50) has a magic ingredient of real Belgian chocolate which makes all the difference.
